Soul Wellspring

After the Jazz Age, popular music moved in different directions in white and black communities. Major stars continued to tour the Circuit, but African Americans also used the many clubs, dance halls, and taverns in Florida as spaces to organize for the Civil Rights Movement and other political causes.
